Carolyn Justice
"I would describe my work as a form of expression as well as entertainment for myself. In 2020, I decided to try some new avenues of expression to keep myself from getting uninspired. I found a new and exciting use of color relationships and pattern that has taken me on a new path. My work still remains with roots in nature and the beauty that is part of the land".

Carolyn Justice received a degree in Illustration from F.I.T. She has been fortunate to have studied with many nationally known pastel artists. Her pastels have won awards from the Northeast Pastel Society, Pastel Society of America, and the Adirondack Pastel Society. Her pastels have been described as having a well controlled riot of color. Farmland and animals are one of the many subjects that inspire her.
Justice has a studio in Saratoga Springs where she gives private lessons. She is a long standing member of the teaching staff at Saratoga Arts. She is a member of the Oakroom Artist.
