Catherine Wagner Minnery
We are surrounded by so much beauty! I especially notice how the light of the sun changes the abstract drama in this landscape as I go about my day. These noticed abstractions are a strong source of inspiration for the work I endeavor to create.

Catherine Wagner Minnery’s formal art education started at the University of Cincinnati where she was a fashion design student. But in her second year of study, she left the university and started her fine art studies at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. She graduated with a fine arts certificate and went on to finishing her academic degree at the University of Cincinnati evening college.
She obtained several positions in the field of advertising, later freelancing as a designer and illustrator. Attending a landscape painting intensive at the Vermont Studio Center was pivotal in her education as an artist and painting became her main focus.
She was an exhibiting artist for 15 years at the Piermont Flywheel Gallery, Piermont NY. Her work is included in private, corporate and public collections.
