Living in Washington County for the last 25 plus years, I have found a strong connection with the gifted local artist community, but until now haven't had the opportunity to expose others to my work.  

Life is busy, and it’s difficult to find time to express your artistic sensibilities when you have a career, kids and the rest of life’s responsibilities. Much of my tinkering in painting and drawing has been via small windows of opportunity that are sadly too far apart. However, the one art that has always been a continuous flow has been my photography. It’s the one medium that for me is crafted in the nooks and crannies; just as life happens.  

The ubiquity of cel phones with decent cameras has allowed us to effortlessly capture moments before they escape. Every outing is an opportunity to create art. Any bike ride, walk or drive through this County, and the beauty just never stops. I am so very thankful to live right in the middle of it and continue to be passionate about capturing frozen images of life that please my eye. A native New Englander, and an architect for over 35 years, Settling in the countryside of Washington County, has shaped and transformed how I see the rest of the world. Art for me is found everywhere from making music, to sketching and painting the endless, changing beauty around where  live to photography, which is just second nature. My two children have grown and lead their own lives, and as I peddle my bicycle through endless miles of these country roads, I'm reminded every day just how lucky I am.
