Driving across the beautiful mountains, hills and rivers of upstate New York and Vermont, I am inspired to paint.  The landscapes are simple and magical.  In my paintings I begin with color and movement using acrylics. I work to create an abstract landscape that shows, in my eyes, the existential beauty that surrounds us with its limitless possibilities.  One reviewer described my work as "blending form and color into a gentle, almost surreal like feeling landscape". I hope you enjoy them.

Born and raised in Queens, NY, I have lived in Shushan, NY for the past 10 years.  Art and painting have always been a passion of mine. Pablo Picasso was an early inspiration - his boldness, defying traditional ways of seeing.
During my career I helped to found a national non-for-profit youth organization, using performance to develop young people and their families from inner city communities.  As well, I have had a successful career in sales and marketing producing jazz cruises on the Hudson River, concerts in Carnegie Hall and Off Off Broadway theater.  I am currently working at the Fort Salem Theater in Salem, NY.
The beauty of the landscape in upstate NY - the mountains, the sky, the blues and greens, the farmlands and the river awakened my senses and my heart and I began to paint. I paint abstract - using acrylics - to connect to real world images. 
I have exhibited at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester VT since 2016. I have shown my work and been juried into shows at North Country Arts and LARAC (Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council) and at the Crandall Library in Glens Falls, where I was awarded the Jurors Choice.  I had a solo show at the Historic Salem Courthouse in Salem NY in 2022.  I have paintings hanging in the Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls.
