These views come from the beautiful, rolling landscape around Altamont, New York. Once rich with family-owned farms, the region is now under intense development pressure. I paint to capture a vanishing landscape and to honor the hardworking farmers who continue to make their living from the land.

When I retired from my job in marketing communications in 2012 I committed myself to painting and community building. Since then I have worked with community groups and donated to organizations that support food programs and landscape conservation.
