Lee Shapiro

I like to capture moments that are otherwise fleeting. I enjoy early morning and evening light and find my subjects close to my home in Washington County.

I spent my career as a rheumatologist working indoors in artificial light, treating individuals with rare, chronic, often debilitating or life shortening diseases.  For the past nearly 30 years, weekends have been spent in Jackson, New York.  The environs have provided sustenance and renewal.
