Molly Czub
As someone local to this region, born and raised, surrounded by agriculture and its influence, I feel a special connection to this place. There is something about the smell of freshly cut hay, the sound of crickets and peepers at dusk, and the sparkle of dew on early morning grass, that creates a beautiful feeling of home and belonging. The artwork in this show, not just by myself but by every participating artist, captures the essence of our home, the spirit of our land, our animals, and our community. I myself am a photographer. I focus primarily on horses, but in traveling to horse properties in this area I have also come to love photographing the landscape and the culture, from county fairs to deep forests to glittering snow covered fields. I hope that my work does the same for you as it does for me, create a sense of familiarity and provide a glimpse into life here.

Molly Czub is a young photographer from Cambridge New York. She began taking photos in the winter of 2019, during her sophomore year of high school at Cambridge Central School. In the midst of a global pandemic, Molly found comfort in spending her days not glued to a computer screen but exploring the woods with only her camera and her own mind for company. After graduating high school in 2022, Molly attended college at SUNY Adirondack where she built on her self-taught foundation and produced am impressive portfolio of work. A textbook introvert, Molly has found her sweet spot in photographing animals as opposed to people. Since graduating college in 2024, Molly has worked as an equine sports photographer for several established photographers, as well as started her own small business.
