Thomas Kerr

I've been painting most of my life and primarily self taught. Growing up there was always an easel and paints available to me. Moving to Washington County in 1980 I discovered a beauty that I never imagined while growing up in South Florida. 

I have to to the landscape for inspiration. The old barns and ever-changing geometry of the fields attracts me. Mans touch on the ever-changing landscape beckons me to record them.

Born in Germany
Raised on/around Air Force Bases till I was 10
Moved around the US during that time.
Lived in NYC for 9 years with my wife
Came to Washington County for the winter of 79 and fell in love with it. 
Worked for Orvis and  got to travel the world sourcing fabrics/designs. 
Now retired.
