"I have always had an affinity to designing and working with wood, primarily “dimensioned lumber”, sawn and planed into unified boards that is. Upon relocating to the Cambridge Valley I began to feel the draw of the serene beauty of the landscape. The trees and barns both standing and fallen have become objects of my attention. I now find myself collecting parts and pieces of both and using them to create new viable and unusual works of functional art. I feel as though reclaiming and reusing these wonderful materials both exemplifies the beauty of the surrounding landscape and in a small way preserves and honors both."

40+ years of experience in high-end general contracting and fine carpentry/woodworking as an owner/partner in several businesses. Varied experience and skills ranging from residential architecture, furniture and product design to cabinet and furniture making as well as high-end residential renovations, furniture, fixtures, cabinetry, millwork and museum exhibits. Education: Montclair State University and Bergen Community College, NJ-Industrial education curriculum.
